The political assassination of Charlie Kirk has shocked the nation. Cultural darkness has reared its ugly head again. Are we at war? Yes, there is spiritual warfare behind it all. This episode calls believers to stand firm, speak truth without compromise, and cling to the hope of Christ when the world shakes.

Apart from an abiding relationship with Jesus, delight in God’s Word would be impossible, because He is both the Author and the Perfecter of our  story (Hebrews 12:2). In Him, all the promises of Scripture are fulfilled, and the joy of our hearts is satisfied and made complete. For believers, Jeremiah 15 reminds us that true joy is not found in circumstances but in God’s Word and in belonging to Him, even when obedience brings rejection or hardship.

Too many men are asleep at the wheel—drifting spiritually while their marriages, families, and churches suffer. Scripture calls men to be alert, stand firm, act like men, and be strong. God calls men to break up the fallow ground and to circumcise their hearts and to get to work sowing righteousness. Passivity is the silent killer of spiritual life. Men were not saved to sit. Men were saved to lead, to serve, to fight.
