Christian Parents: Disciple-making Starts in Your Home
Christian Parents,
You have been designed by God, commissioned by Jesus, and empowered by the Holy Spirit to disciple your kids. Not the church….you! If you haven’t heard of the Great Commission before the Great Commission, check out this blog post to learn more about the biblical mandate of parents and grandparents discipling their kids and grandkids.
Statistics prove that parents who assume the church will raise their kids to be spiritual champions is not working. More and more kids are falling away from the faith every year. Why? I believe it’s because discipleship is not happening in the home, and parents have unintentionally outsourced the discipleship of their kids to the local church, Christian schools, and society at large.
This was never God’s design, and it doesn’t have to be this way!
